The Vienna Mozart Orchestra has chosen Sofia as the host on October 25!
One of the most famous classical orchestras in the world with a second concert this year at the National Palace of Culture!On October 25 this year, we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss II (1825–1899). In honor of this grand occasion, the VIENNA MOZART ORCHESTRA will embark on a tour, launching a new concert program. The Strauss Anniversary Show features breathtaking performances marking the highlight of Vienna’s cultural program in October 2025. The concert will take you on an unforgettable journey through the world-famous works of Johann Strauss, including numerous polkas and waltzes – and of course, the performances of the Blue Danube Waltz and Radetzky March. The program also includes impressive performances and interactive audience engagement opportunities.In addition, exceptional singers will delight the audience with their virtuoso performances, presenting world-renowned pieces by Johann Strauss, including the challenging Frühlingsstimmenwalzer and the playful Schwipslied. An evening that will transport you to the enchanting world of the King of the Waltz!The anniversary concert celebrating 200 years since the birth of Johann Strauss will take place on Saturday, October 25, at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture at 8:00 PM. The concert is organized by BGTSC, a company with long-standing experience in organizing concerts and large-scale events.Tickets are sold exclusively online and through the network of Kupibileti.bg.Johann Strauss II (1825–1899) is the most famous representative of the great Viennese musical dynasty Strauss, which, along with Mozart, is one of the symbols of Austria and a fine example of refined culture.
