One of the most famous classical orchestras in the world with a second concert this year at the National Palace of Culture!On October 25 this year, we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss II (1825–1899). In honor of this grand occasion, the VIENNA MOZART ORCHESTRA will embark on a tour, launching a new concert program. The Strauss Anniversary Show features breathtaking performances marking the highlight of Vienna’s cultural program in October 2025. The concert will take you on an unforgettable journey through the world-famous works of Johann Strauss, including numerous polkas and waltzes – and of course, the performances of the Blue Danube Waltz and Radetzky March. The program also includes impressive performances and interactive audience engagement opportunities.In addition, exceptional singers will delight the audience with their virtuoso performances, presenting world-renowned pieces by Johann Strauss, including the challenging Frühlingsstimmenwalzer and the playful Schwipslied. The anniversary show on October 25 will also feature a charming host who will guide the audience through the evening with wit in tune with the festive spirit.The Vienna Mozart Orchestra has chosen Sofia as the host of the main date of this important anniversary! An evening that will transport you to the enchanting world of the King of the Waltz!The anniversary concert celebrating 200 years since the birth of Johann Strauss will take place on Saturday, October 25, at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture at 8:00 PM. Johann Strauss composed over 500 waltzes, polkas, marches, as well as a large number of operettas. Known as “The King of the Waltz,” he played a significant role in popularizing this dance in Vienna in the 19th century.The VIENNA MOZART ORCHESTRA is one of the most renowned and respected classical orchestras in the world and this year will delight the Bulgarian audience with two different themed concerts at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture – on May 31 and October 25.Since its founding in 1986, the VIENNA MOZART ORCHESTRA has brought joy to audiences around the world.
