The State Ensemble of Song and Dance "Mhedruli" is one of the most dynamic and masterful ensembles in Georgia.
In Georgian, “Mhedruli” means “Horseman Warrior”—the name behind the ensemble’s signature dance, performed with passion, unique technique, and astonishing precision, which will come alive on stage!
“Mhedruli” is also the name of one of the oldest scripts in the world, still used in Georgia today. It has been recognized by UNESCO as part of the World Cultural Heritage, along with Georgia’s breathtaking polyphonic singing, which will be featured during the ensemble’s concerts.
Founded in 2002, the ensemble has held the status of State Ensemble since 2011. It has received international acclaim in Turkey, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Austria, France, Germany, Ukraine, and achieved tremendous success in China with a tour of 31 sold-out concerts.
The performance presented to the Bulgarian audience is titled "The Spirit of Georgia"—a story of the country, its history, legends, and love for God, Women, and Mothers.
We are confident that the audience will be mesmerized by the skill, temperament, and passion of the dancers, singers, and musicians, along with the stunning costumes, spectacular lighting, and superb sound.
