A performance with songs, dances, improvisations, and examples from lifeFolk art is the art created by the people. That’s it. It is primarily born in the villages, i.e., outside the city. But even what is born in the city can still be considered folk art because people in the city are usually from the villages.This is best seen during the weekends when they go to the villages, and people from the villages visit the city on Saturdays and Sundays to sell what they produce in the villages and buy from the city what is lacking in the villages. The so-called folk artist learns, remembers, and performs, but also he must interpret, fantasize, and enrich it mainly with love and with all his heart to pass on this enriched version to his descendants.The important thing, however, is that in folk art, no one wants to ruin what has been done, but rather, to make it more beautiful. Simply, like beans.The topic we will address is: rediscovering folk art and its widespread application in everyday life to improve people’s health, work efficiency, communication, and rest. Folk songs and dances can help cope with life’s difficulties, stress, loneliness, boredom, musculoskeletal problems, fatigue, negative emotions, and communication. They can also be applied throughout the workweek, the two days of rest, and the personal time.The performance is not suitable for people under 14 years of age.Since its premiere on October 16, 2007, the performance has been staged 500 times. Favorite lines from the show are passed from mouth to mouth across Bulgaria and beyond its borders... like folk art. Kamen Donev has made audiences laugh across dozens of Bulgarian cities. He is the only performer who has packed Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (a hall with 4,000 seats) a total of 16 times with the same title. Audiences in Moscow, St. Petersburg (II International Festival "Balkan Theater Space"), Berlin, Luxembourg, Vienna, and Brussels have also bent over in laughter. From the prestigious International Theater Festival "Golden Knight" in Moscow, the actor returned with a bronze statuette. The one-man show has received recognition at all the theater festivals in the country.Since its premiere on October 16, 2007, the greatest recognition for the performance is its 330,000 viewers – a record no Bulgarian performance in the history of theater can boast of.Awards for the performance
